701 South Main Street *  Akron, Ohio 44311  *  (330) 376-7273

Help Me Grow programs provide services that promote growth and development
and support families during the important early years of a child’s life.
Help Me Grow programs are voluntary and available to expectant mothers and to families with children from birth to three years of age.
Help Me Grow programs:

  • Provide a free home visit to all first time and teen mothers by a registered nurse within two weeks of hospital discharge
  • Promote the well-being of expectant mothers and children under the age of three and their families through a free home visiting program
  • Connect families with needed community resources, and provide parenting and child development informationbaby
  • Offer free developmental screenings to make sure that your child is developing “on track”
  • Support development early in a child’s life when they need extra help because of premature birth, diagnosed medical conditions, or a delay in progress in seeing, hearing, walking or talking.

Call Help Me Grow for more information or if you have
any concerns about how your infant
or toddler is growing.
