What
is It?
The Wellness Program provides
sexuality and family life education
to Summit County youth. The
goal is to reduce the number
of teen pregnancies and to
promote healthy sexual decision-
making.
Who
is Served?
The program targets youth
ages 10-19 years from varying
geographic neighborhoods
throughout Summit County.
Presently, about 250 youth
are being served.
Where
and When?
All programs are after school and
are carried out at community
centers, social service offices,
or other space provided by
benevolent organizations.
Where
to Find a Wellness Program?
Sponsoring social service agencies
include: Asian Services in Action (ASIA), Child Guidance
(Family Ties Program), Catholic Social Services, CYO,
YWCA, Family Services, Family Solutions, North American
Indian Cultural Center Urban Oz. of Prevention Services
and the Community Health Center.
Eligibility?
Youths ages 10-19 who reside in Summit County.
